Enterprise: UP16 students have been working incredibly hard in planning, preparing and creating beautifully presented potted plants. Students organised a raffle for staff and children to enter and we had an amazing response! Our potted plants are in recognition of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and we cannot thank you enough for your continuous support!
Upper P16 have been learning about the royal family. Today we have started by drawing wonderful portraits of HM Queen Elizabeth. I’m sure you will agree they all look fantastic!
Post 16 took part in the final rehearsal and recording shoot - they have all worked very hard to create an excellent dance routine. Thank you MJ and Donna for giving us this incredible opportunity!
World Book Day 2022 - Upper Post 16 students have had a lovely day reading books, listening to stories and learning about some well known authors. Well done to those students who dressed up today as a favourite book character - you all looked amazing!
Upper and Lower Post 16 have been working hard to create a sequence for a dance routine that will be used as part of the UDance festival in March. Both Post 16 classes have been learning the moves with a dance choreographer and filmmaker called MJ. Take a look at us working hard…
World Braille Day 2022 - Upper Post 16 have been learning about the history of Braille. We have also had a go at reading and writing in Braille too - amazing effort everyone!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Upper Post 16 - students have been making mince pies and jam tarts!
Children in Need 2021 - this year Upper Post 16 have learnt to sign a song in SSE and a couple took on a challenge of ballroom dancing to support the deaf community. Students wanted to wish Rose Ayling-Ellis the very best of luck on Strictly Come Dancing - it’s a 10 from us!

Enterprise: this Christmas UP16 students are making stockings filled with homemade cat and dog biscuits for £2 each. If you are interested in purchasing our products, please order within school and in your child’s class. For now, have a look at the students busy at work and the production line in process!
Our Halloween day! Our spooky day started with carving some pumpkins. We then had fun playing a few games before watching the film called Hocus Pocus to finish.
