Making phone calls.
Students in Lower Post 16 made some phone calls to the local community. They practised how to make the calls, found their own phone numbers and dialled for themselves. We did almost have a taxi and a large pizza delivered!

Lower Post 16 Students are proud to share their achievements with everybody during their exhibition
We hope you enjoyed looking at our photographs from the exhibition. The students work incredibly hard in their Entry Pathway courses and are proud to display all their work for people to see before it all gets sent off to the exam board in April.

Enterprise project. Students decided to buy, make and sell pumpkin soup and bread for their first enterprise project. They were able to advertise their project and run their own stall which raised a good sum of money for their next project.
Visit to David Wilson Homes. They were able to look around the building site and ask questions to the site manager about the equipment and how to develop a career in this trade.
Students have been working in the coffee shop at Central Bedfordshire College. They have been developing their money skills, serving customers and advertising.
Students have been developing their functional skills by researching recipes, creating shopping lists and buying their own ingredients.
