Green Class

Humanities Week - we learnt about African Culture. We liked the music and drumming the best!

Green Class had a great time during our Embedding Music Technology sessions.

We have been learning about road safety. We have enjoyed going out for local walks to find safe places to cross the road.

Our topic for the Summer term is The Seaside. We have had great fun transforming our classroom into a colourful seaside! We have also enjoyed sharing stories about the seaside and what lives under the sea.

We met lots of animals when Teaching Talons came to visit. All the children were very brave!

The children in Green Class have been enjoying Story Massage this term. We are looking at the book 'Rumble in the Jungle' where each animal represents a different movement. The children are really anticipating movements and communicating preferences during these sessions.

Our topic this term is The Rain forest. We are focusing on the story 'Walking Through The Jungle'. We meet lots of different jungle animals during our story such as a monkey playing in the banana tree, an elephant squirting water at us, a hippo splashing mud at us and a crocodile blowing bubbles at us.

Our train journey to Harpenden. We had great fun train spotting!
