Green Class

Green Class had a lovely trip to Perfect Aquatics pet shop in Henlow as part of our Animals topic. We got to handle lots of different animals and had a picnic after.

A fun filled visit from Wycomb Pastures Mobile Petting Zoo!

We all like our Dance Massage sessions! The children work 1:1 with an adult to relax, listen to music, and make some really meaningful interactions with there dance partner.

We had great time when ZooLab visited. We got to handle different mini beasts, and even a dragon!

Bedford Museum trip to explore toys from the past

We loved the story of The Tiger Who Came to Tea. We listened to this sensory story and then made our own stripy tiger pictures.

Bedfordshire Music Festival winners!! Joe (and the Woburn Sands Band Under 8's) recently performed at the music festival, and won. Well done Joe we are very proud of you!

We all enjoy Sound Board work. We are working on showing our preferences, taking turns, and making choices.

Jack and The Beanstalk is one of our favourite stories. We have planted our own beans- we hope they are magic too!

Phonics - some of the children in Green Class have begun Phonics work. They enjoy playing listening games and have started to learn Phases 2 Letters and Sounds.

Maths - We now have a focus colour of the week. We have lots of different sensory activities to help us learn our colours.

Green class are taking it in turns to go horse riding every week. It has been a hit so far!

In this weeks cookery lesson we thought about the Autumn Harvest and made a pumpkin loaf...

In PSHE we are looking at Ourselves. We started by looking at our faces; we sang lots of songs and made pictures of a face.

This term we are learning all about Traditional Tales. We have started by reading The Three Little Pigs, and doing lots of different activities about the story.
