  • Blue Class

Jelly Baby Challenge. Every child was given a jelly baby. Throughout the morning they had to look after their baby and create a profile for him or her. We designed their favourite meals and thought about their likes and dislikes. We even took our babies out to play! The real challenge of course was to do all this whilst resisting the urge to eat the jelly baby! We had a lot of fun and most of the class managed (we lost two to temptation 😀)

8th July. We all had a fabulous day at Warwick Castle. We learnt all about swords and weapons (we were able to handle them which was great). We met a princess who taught us to bow and curtesy and read us a story. We also watched the bowman show and saw the birds of prey show. We had so much fun!!

As part of our Knights and Castles topic we have been learning to use a bow and arrow. It was great fun!

Blue Class enjoyed the rides at the fair before visiting The Higgins museum for a castle experience.

We had a great time at Whipsnade with the volunteers from the Rotary Club.

The new interactive whiteboard has caused a lot of excitement in Blue Class

Purple class have been teaching us about their fabulous computer games. They used fruit, vegetables and pans to make switches. We had a lot of fun.

We had a great time exploring the ruins of Berkhamsted Castle!

Five of the children from Blue Class took up the opportunity offered to the class to spend three nights on the Norfolk Broads. They had a fantastic time and all behaved excellently.

We planted some flower seeds today. We are hoping they will attract butterflies and other insects to our bug hotel!

Summer 2019. Our topic this term is Knights and Castles

Christmas fun!

We had a lovely time in Milton Keynes. We saw the beautiful decorations, visited Santa and had a lovely lunch together.

In ICT we have been practicing typing with our left hands!

How do you feel today? Blue Class enjoy using the Zones of Regulation.

We are talking about healthy eating in PSHE. We used an app to scan some of our favourite treats to see how much sugar is in them. We counted out sugar cubes so that we could easily compare the different sugar content.

December 2018. In maths we carried out a survey about favourite fruit. We used the data we collected to make a bar chart.

Children in Need. Blue Class held a Bring and Buy sale and had a lot of fun trying out all the different activities.

Remembrance Sunday

14th November. We are learning all about trees in science. We had a lot of fun making bark rubbings.

This term our maths focus has been money. We have been playing games to develop our understanding of the value of different coins.

27th September - We had a fabulous day at Jordan's Mill in the sunshine. We looked at different flowers and vegetables growing, looked for mini beasts and had loads of fun in the woods.

24th September. We have been using Purple Mash to decorate minibeasts in ICT

24th September. We had fun on a minibeast hunt around the school.

21st September - Jeans for Genes. Thank you to everyone who wore their jeans to school!
